morning bell
if you come here very early in the morning
you have to hang the bell up somewhere and ring it really loudly with a stick and then everyone wakes up and says,
“oh, it’s another beautiful day”.
if the wind blows
the bell it will be quiet.
if we bang the bell with something it will make a noise
it needs help
it’s bones are hurt
it needs a ringer.
we could send a message and put notes in every tree
and someone who sees it would bring something to make it ring
a ringer is a kind of thing that goes inside the bell
the bell cannot actually wake up the animals
maybe if we find a ringer and help it ring
it can wake everyone up.
we found a rock and hanged it inside the bell
and it’s like a doorbell
it rings.
