hannah gray

after receiving a bachelor’s degree in anthropology, hannah traveled and worked throughout europe. she later attended st. johns university and obtained a master’s degree in childhood education with duel certification in teaching english to speakers of other languages. during her time at st. johns university, hannah received a fulbright scholarship to study throughout vietnam and continued her studies in argentina in order to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges facing children who have and will emigrate from other countries.

hannah strives to maintain an ethos which is inspired by the reggio emilia understanding. she believes that children should learn in the spirit of diversity, understanding and kindness while free to cultivate wonder and reflect in the quiet heart of nature.

hannah is a certified forest school educator. she lives in southold with her daughter, ella and sons bereket and noah.
