the following gear is necessary and required for forest school:

rain or snow boots

indoor slippers

rain pants 

rain jacket

rain hat

snow pants 

snow jacket

mittens {2 pair}

wool hat

wool socks

warm undergarments

insect repellent

sunscreen

water bottle

backpack

extra set of clothing  

{change according to the season}

there are many valuable sites that sell well-made outdoor clothing for children.  please inquire with the teachers if you're not sure where to find appropriate outdoor gear.

*the children will get dirty... so comfortable, appropriate clothing is strongly suggested.

*we will teach the children how to check for ticks.
